Using public transport:
A link which gives you the way to come to the lab using public transport (in french). When the link opens, you should first click on "Rechercher", then put in the field "Choix du point de départ" the text "Gare de Marseille Saint Charles" and click on "Rechercher".

From Marseille Marignane airport (which is about 30km from Marseille), there is a bus going to Marseille Saint Charles railway station.
From airport to Marseille: every 20 minutes between 6h30 and 20h50, plus 6h15, 21h15, 21h40, 22h00, 22h20, 22h50.
From Marseille to airport: every 20 minutes from 6h10 to 21h50, plus 5h30, 5h55.
The price is 8 €, and the trip takes about 25 min.

From gare Saint Charles (railway station) to the Faculté Saint Jérôme:
Take the underground (line number M1, starting from LA TIMONE and going to LA ROSE), and get off at the LA ROSE station.
Then take the bus number 3 (local link in PDF or in PNG format) going from LA ROSE to FACULTE DE ST JEROME, and get off at the FACULTE SAINT JEROME station. You can get the line timetable using this link.
The entire trip takes about 40 mins.

From gare Saint Charles (railway station) to Vieux Port:
Take the underground (line number M1, starting from LA ROSE and going to LA TIMONE), and get off at the VIEUX PORT station.
The trip takes about 5 mins.

From Vieux Port to the Faculté Saint Jérôme:
Take the underground (line number M1, starting from LA TIMONE and going to LA ROSE), and get off at the LA ROSE station.
Then take the bus number 3 (local link in PDF or in PNG format) going from LA ROSE to FACULTE DE ST JEROME, and get off at the FACULTE SAINT JEROME station. You can get the line timetable using this link.
The entire trip takes about 45 mins.

The same ticket can be used for the underground and the bus: each ticket is valid during one hour from the first use, and during this time you can take several ways of transportation, even going one way and return. Of course, you can stay in the underground or bus after the first hour is finished, but you cannot take another one.
